Portsmouth & Havant Truck Reception Silo

The silo is installed in a pit to enable trucks to tip as required in the quickest possible time, with the least possible spillage and odour escape. An odour tight hinged lid opens and closes on demand from the truck driver. The sludge cake is discharged from the silo using the Sliding Frame machine and the two discharge metering screw conveyors. These feed to blending pumps via chute/hoppers.

The equipment was supplied to Southern Water via Gleeson ECL.
