Saxlund will supply a material handling system, which for the most part consists of Saxlund’s unique piston pump for transport of sludge cake. In total, four pumps will be delivered together with silos for storage.
Germany has passed a law on phosphorus recovery from sewage sludge which will increase the number of plants where sewage sludge is to be incinerated, which will open up more deliveries of Saxlund’s material handling equipment.
- Saxlund is proud and happy for the two contracts and thinks it will be exciting to work with Martin and Küttner Martin on these new projects. Küttner and Martin have formed a JV, Küttner Martin GmbH, to run waste sludge incineration projects and therefore it is extremely interesting that a specialist company has chosen our products. We see it as a stamp for the high quality that Saxlund’s products hold. The core of Saxlund’s delivery on this project is Saxlund’s unique pump for sewage sludge, says Remo Schulz, CEO of Saxlund International GmbH.
- Very exciting projects and extremely good to have the confidence of Martin and Küttner Martin to join and deliver to these two prestigious projects. Saxlund has a unique product in our pump for sludge, in-house design and construction, which provides the opportunity to participate and delivers to projects for the incineration of sewage sludge, says Stefan Wallerman, CEO of Saxlund Group AB.
