Saxlund designed, manufactured, and installed the fuel handling system with two front loader fed stockpile Saxlund Push Floors which discharged fuel on demand into a chain conveyor.

This is a similar project to the ones delivered at Hull & Boston, for the same client.

The system included a screening tower which provided support and access for a belt conveyor fitted with an overband magnet for ferrous metal removal, a disc screen for the removal of oversize particles, and a weigh belt conveyor to measure the fuel flow to the gasifier.

The final chain conveyor elevated the fuel into the gasification building, where it was discharged via a diverter valve into the clients two gasifier fed bins.
